The organization of GD2018 has made agreements with three university residences. The deadline for accommodation request has passed.
1. Residència d’Investigadors
Executive room:
Standard room: No rooms left!
Accommodation: This is a residence for visiting professors and researchers. Rooms have been renewed and have private bathroom and air conditioning, but do not have kitchenette.
Prices (GD 2018):
Executive single room: € 73/night
Standard single room: € 65/night
The price includes breakfast, daily cleaning, daily change of towels, sheet change every three days, and VAT.
Cancellation policy:
Free cancellation up to 1 week prior to arrival, at 14:00.
100% charge for later cancellations.
40% charge of non used services in case of early departure.
Location: Right in the city center, very close to the Gothic quarter and most of the touristic sights. It is located in the Raval, a multicultural neighborhood that is busy all day and night. The closest underground station is Liceu (line 3, 350 m away).
From the airport to the residence: The easiest way is to take the Aerobus (leaving from both terminals) and get off at the last stop, Plaça Catalunya. From there, walk down along Rambles until you find the Hospital street to your right. The total walk should take about 13 minutes (1100 m).
From the residence to the venue: Take the metro at Liceu, direction Zona Universitària, to Palau Reial. The venue is 5 minutes away by foot from Palau Reial. The total travel time should be around 25 minutes.

2. Residència Torre Girona: No rooms left!
Accommodation: This is a residence for visiting professors, postdocs and graduate students. Rooms have been renewed and have: private bathroom, a kitchenette, air conditioning.
Prices (GD 2018):
Double room for single use: € 73/night
Double room: € 89/night
Double room for triple use (two adults and one child): € 109/night
Prices include breakfast, daily cleaning, daily change of towels, sheet change every three days, and VAT.

Free cancellation up to 11 days prior to arrival.
30% charge for later cancellations.
40% charge of non used services in case of early departure.
Location: Two minutes by foot from the venue, it is located in the UPC North Campus, a residential and very quiet area of Barcelona. There are few shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The closest metro station is Palau Reial (line 3, 750m away). The city center is about 25 minutes away by metro.
From the airport to the residence: Take metro line L9S at the airport (in any of the two terminals), until the end station of the line, Zona Universitària. The metro ride takes about 30 minutes. From Zona Universitària, walk about 15 minutes (1.1km) to the residence.
From the residence to the venues: By foot, in 2-6 minutes (220 m to the Vertex building, 450 m to the Aula Màster).

3. Residència Penyafort-Montserrat: No rooms left!
Accommodation: This is a residence for students that has one floor with short-stay rooms. All GD18 rooms are in this floor. All of them have private bathroom and air conditioning. They do not have kitchenette.
Prices (GD 2018):
Single room: € 44,35 /night
The price includes breakfast, change of towels every other day, sheet change every week, and VAT.
The residence offers dinner. If desired, it can be booked on a dialy basis, for € 9,30.
Cancellation policy: Free cancellation.
Location: 12 minutes by foot from the venue, it is located in the University area, in the main avenue Diagonal. There are shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The closest metro station is Palau Reial (line 3, 250m away). The city center is about 25 minutes away by metro.
From the airport to the residence: Take metro line L9S at the airport (in any of the two terminals), until the end station of the line, Zona Universitària. The metro ride takes about 30 minutes. At Zona Universitària, change to line 3 to station Palau Reila (1 stop away). Walk about 3 minutes (250 m) to the residence.
From the residence to the venues: By foot, in 13-15 minutes (950 m to either the Vertex building or the Aula Màster).
