Barcelona offers many options for accommodation, which can be easily booked through any online travel agency.
In addition to the many hotels in the city, there are a few university residences that offer some rooms at special prices (see below) but, unfortunately, the number of rooms available is very limited.
In general, the best advice to find reasonable accommodation is to book as soon as possible.
University residences
There are still a few rooms available at some university residences, some of which are close to the venue. Please try to book as soon as possible, since there is very high demand for these dates in Barcelona.
1. Residència Penyafort-Montserrat
Accommodation: This is a residence that belongs to Universitat de Barcelona, used mostly for students, but with one floor reserved for short-stay rooms. All short-stay rooms have private bathroom and air conditioning. They do not have kitchenette.
Location: it is located in the University area, in the main avenue Diagonal (more precisely, Diagonal 639.). There are shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The closest metro station is Palau Reial (line 3250 m away). The city center is about 25 minutes away by metro.
From the airport to the residence: Take metro line L9S at the airport (in any of the two terminals), until the end station of the line, Zona Universitària. The metro ride takes about 30 minutes. At Zona Universitària, change to line 3 to station Palau Reial (1 stop away). Walk about 3 minutes (250 m) to the residence.
From the residence to the venues: By foot, in 13-15 minutes (950 m to either the Vertex building or the Aula Màster).
Prices: single rooms with private bathroom and breakfast cost 48.43 € / night. A few double rooms are also available for 85.60 €/night, breakfast included.

Accommodation: This is a residence for visiting professors and researchers. Rooms have been renewed and have private bathroom and air conditioning, but do not have kitchenette.
Location: Right in the city center, very close to the Gothic quarter and most of the touristic sights. It is located in the Raval, a multicultural neighborhood that is busy all day and night. The closest underground station is Liceu (line 3350 m away).
From the airport to the residence: The easiest way is to take the Aerobus (leaving from both terminals) and get off at the last stop, Plaça Catalunya. From there, walk down along Rambles until you find the Hospital street to your right. The total walk should take about 13 minutes (1100 m).
From the residence to the venue: Take the metro at Liceu, direction Zona Universitària, to Palau Reial. The venue is 5 minutes away by foot from Palau Reial. The total travel time should be around 25 minutes.

Location: it is located in the UPC North Campus, a residential and very quiet area of Barcelona. There are few shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The closest metro station is Palau Reial (line 3750 m away). The city center is about 25 minutes away by metro.
From the airport to the residence: Take metro line L9S at the airport (in any of the two terminals), until the end station of the line, Zona Universitària. The metro ride takes about 30 minutes. From Zona Universitària, walk about 15 minutes (1100 m) to the residence.
From the residence to the venues: By foot, in 2-6 minutes (220 m to the Vertex building, 450 m to the Aula Màster).

Accommodation: It offers accommodation to all members of the Educational or University Community to those participating in academic and scientific congresses, cultural and sports groups.
Location: it is located in Barceloneta. The campus provides a large variety of accommodation options as well as diverse common areas and facilities. The metro stop (L4, Barceloneta) is just minutes from the campus and provides a connection with the entire city.
From the airport to the residence: The easiest way is to take the Aerobus (leaving from both terminals) and get off at the last stop, Plaça Catalunya. From there walk until you find Urquinaona metro station. Take metro line L4 , until Barceloneta station. The metro ride takes about 3 minutes. From Barceloneta, walk about 7 minutes (500 m) to the residence.
From the residence to the venues: Take the metro line L4 at Barceloneta to Urquinaona. Then take metro line L1 to Plaza de Espanya. Then, take metro line L3 to Palau Reial. The venue is 5 minutes away by foot from Palau Reial. The total travel time should be around 39 minutes.

Hotels
Barcelona has hundreds of hotels, plus even more hostels, touristic apartments, and all sorts of short-stay accommodation options. We recommend exploring the many options by using some online travel agency. If you book in advance, you can get very reasonable prices.
While most hotels are close to the touristic attractions, and thus relatively far from campus, you will find a few that are at walking distance from campus. Here we list a few that are not far, and offer a discount to EuroCG attendees.

4. Atiram Hotel – Capitán Arenas (4-star)
Location: Located 10 minutes from the city center and 5 minutes from the Diagonal shopping and leisure area, an area known for its various academic and medical institutions.

At Zona Universitària, change to line 3 to station Maria Cristina (2 stops away). Walk about 5 minutes (350 m) to the hotel.

Location: Located in the center of one of the best residential neighborhoods of Barcelona, next to the distinguished commercial and leisure districts inf the Diagonal Avenue, also next to a diverse educational and university centers of prestige.
From the airport to the hotel: The easiest way is to take the Aerobus (leaving from both terminals) and get off at the last stop, Plaça Catalunya. From there, take metro line L6 to station Les Tres Torres (6 stops away). Walk about 4 minutes (300 m) to the hotel.

6. Hotel Bonanova Park (2-star)
Location: Among the main places of interest near the Hotel Bonanova Park, are the Camp Nou, the University of Barcelona, the shopping centers of L’Illa Diagonal and El Corte Inglés, the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, Hospitals and specialized clinics, as well as different shops, bars, restaurants, business centers and exhibition halls.
From the airport to the hotel: Take metro line L9S at the airport (in any of the two terminals), until the end station of the line, Zona Universitària. The metro ride takes about 30 minutes. At Zona Universitària, change to line 3 to station Maria Cristina (2 stops away). Walk about 10 minutes (700 m) to the hotel.
From the residence to the venues: By foot, in 14-18 minutes (1200 m to the Vertex building, 1500 m to the Aula Màster).
